Raw Footage
Raw footage is exactly what we film. No editing, no music, no titles, or transitions. We pretty much take what is on our tapes and transfer it to DVD for you. This option was originally offered as an addition to all our other options. We now offer it as an individual option for anyone that may not be able to afford other options. We do this because we feel it is important for everyone to have video and audio memories of their wedding day whether or not they can afford all the extras.
Although I do not recommend anyone sit down and watch an entire wedding video in its raw form more than once, it is fun to see all the footage in its original form. In the editing process we try to create a smooth flowing sequence of events using the most beautiful and fun shots. Some shots may not make it into the final edit due to interruptions in filming, poor light, poor audio, or any other variety of issues. In order to maintain an elegant and professional looking video these imperfect shots may be left out of the final video. Some of these imperfect shots however may be quite entertaining and enjoyable to watch although they were not filmed perfectly for some reason.
It is also good general archiving practice to obtain all original footage in its original format. If interested, feel free to contact us for more information on obtaining the original footage from your wedding day.
