About

It has been over 20 years since I filmed and edited my first amateur video. Since then I have produced dozens of promotional, training, and advertisement videos for friends and paying customers. Most of my work has been outdoors on live shoots (no acting or staged events). I have filmed and assisted in the production of 3 documentary programs that aired on the Discovery Channel, as well as the History Channel, and PBS/NOVA. Some of my wildland fire and smokejumper footage as been bought by a National Geographic production company for up to $500.00 per minute of film.

I think one of the reasons my work is so well received is because of my ability to capture things as they happen naturally. Over the years I have also developed my skills as an editor. The ability to film and edit are two completely different fields. Having someone that is skilled in both areas is a great benefit to anyone paying to have a video produced.

In today’s high-tech world just about anyone with a video camera and a computer can produce a video, and they do. Unfortunately the wedding video business has been saturated with amateur video producers. This situation makes it extremely difficult to feel comfortable about hiring someone you do not know, to be responsible for capturing one of the most important events in your life. The ability to create a beautiful website only adds to this problem. I have surfed the internet to explore the wedding video industry and found some incredible websites built with amazing graphics and motion menus, only to find poor quality, amateur wedding videos.

There are of course some great wedding video production companies out there. My intent with this website was not to impress you with cool graphics and FLASH motion menus, but rather to help you become informed on what to look for when making decisions about your wedding video. Once the blog and blog menus become active you will be able to read and discuss with others, their experiences and advice concerning wedding video production. Until then I hope I can answer any of your wedding video questions through this website. If you still have questions or comments after looking through the website feel free to email me or even give me a call.

Video production is all I do and I would be glad to hear from anyone looking to learn more about it.
